Michael P. McDermott, CFP®

Michael McDermott serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Kathmere Capital Management. He has been in the wealth management industry for 25 years.

In this role, he leads the strategic vision of Kathmere and works directly with many of the firm’s important client relationships. In addition, he sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Michael graduated from St. Joseph’s University as a member of the golf team where he was named an All-American Scholar in his senior year.  He was inducted into the University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Personal

Michael is active in the community as a board member of The Cobbs Creek Restoration Foundation as well as a co-founder of The GolfBridge Society.  

He remains an active and competitive golfer and can also be found in winter months coaching youth basketball.

Michael lives in Bryn Mawr, PA with his wife and 3 sons.
